How Artists Join
Artists join the Sonoran Art Gallery by invitation only. There is no application form, no open call, and no public submission process. If you are an artist interested in Sonoran Art, we appreciate your interest. We add artists selectively as the gallery grows, and we are happy to keep you in mind. Sonoran Art is a Curated Gallery with an Arizona focus.
Curation
Michael Burns, as publisher and owner of Sonoran Art LLC, selects each gallery artist and retains the right to accept, decline, or remove any piece or artist at any time. Every decision is guided by a commitment to maintaining the quality and identity that define the Sonoran Art brand.
What Makes a Good Fit
Gallery artists meet four standards:
First, the artist’s process aligns with Sonoran Art’s creative foundation. The work begins with original human-created art — photographs, paintings, or drawings — and is developed through digital tools into finished prints. Pure AI-generated work with no original creative input does not qualify.
Second, the artist is an established professional with an exhibition history, a recognized body of work, and an active presence in the arts community.
Third, the work is reproducible as wall-art prints — canvas, metal, acrylic, or fine art paper — through the artist’s own professional print fulfillment. Sonoran Art does not stock inventory or manage production. Each artist works with the professional printers they know and trust.
Fourth, the artist operates under the Sonoran Art brand standard. Sonoran Art controls all listing copy and presentation on the site, collects payment and applicable sales tax, and the artist fulfills orders within the agreed turnaround window.
Gallery Scope
Sonoran Art sells wall-art prints. Every product listed on this site is a print intended for wall display: canvas, metal panels, acrylic panels, or fine art paper. The gallery does not carry original paintings, sculptures, jewelry, crafts, or merchandise.
Growth
Sonoran Art grows deliberately. There is no target number of artists. Each addition is carefully considered to ensure it strengthens the gallery and serves the collectors who trust the Sonoran Art name.
