When the Desert Drinks captures that electric moment of transformation. A flash flood tears through a rocky desert arroyo, the water running heavy with the red earth it carries from the mountains above. Palo verde and desert scrub line the banks, lush with the sudden green that only monsoon season can produce. Above it all, a rugged mesa formation rises against a turbulent storm sky — dark clouds broken by a shaft of warm golden light that falls across the peaks like a benediction.
